Regulatory framework

Directive 2002/58/EC – on “processing of personal data and protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector”.

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”).

Data processing place and storage time

The processing operations connected to the web services of this site take place at the headquarters of the Data Controller and are only handled by appropriately appointed staff, or by any third party suppliers in charge of occasional maintenance operations, appointed as Data Processors pursuant to article 28 of the RGPD.

Type of data processed

Browsing data

The IT systems and the software procedures used to operate this web site acquire, during their normal running, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communications protocols. This information is not gathered to be associated with identified parties, but by its very nature could allow to identify users. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the dimension of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the web site and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after their processing. Moreover, the data could be used to ascertain responsibilities in case of possible cybercrimes damaging the web site.

Other data collected

Personal data collected from data subject’s email sent to email addresses founded in this site are processed only to reply to email. The processing is lawful to the extent that is necessary in order to take steps at the data subject’s request.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are deposited on your computer by the sites you visit. They are mainly used in order to make websites work and operate more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the website itself. Cookies can be first-party or third-party. In the first case the cookies are managed by the owner of the site and who is responsible for providing information and indicating how to block the cookie if necessary. In the second case, the cookies are managed by a third party other than the site owner. For these cookies, the obligation of the information and the indication of the modalities for the eventual blocking of the cookie is the responsibility of the third party, while the site owner is obliged to include on the site the link to the site of the third party where these elements are available.

1. Technical cookies, to the extent strictly necessary for the use and navigation of its website. The use of technical session cookies in particular is limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the site. These cookies avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to the privacy of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user. No personal user data is acquired by the site in this regard. No use is made of cookies for the transmission of information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind, i.e. systems for tracing users, used.

Google Analytics cookies, used to collect and analyze information about website usage behavior (e.g. the time and day the visit occurred, any previous visits to the site by the same visitor, the site of origin, etc.). This information (including the user's IP address) is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it for the purpose of compiling reports for Gamma Studio regarding activity on its website and used by it to improve the website. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data in its possession or attempt to link an IP address with a user's identity. Google may also disclose this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process this information on Google's behalf.

3. Preference cookies used to store information that affects its behavior or appearance, such as your preferred language or location.

4. Statistical cookies used to understand how visitors interact with the sites by collecting and transmitting information anonymously.

 5. Marketing cookies used to track visitors on websites. The purpose is to present advertisements that are relevant and engaging to the individual user and therefore of greater value to third-party publishers and advertisers .

Optionality of providing data

Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide his/her own personal data. However, failure to provide them may result in the inability to obtain what is requested or in a limitation of the use of the website.

Processing methods and retention period

Personal data are also processed by means of automated tools, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they have been collected. Specific security measures are observed in order to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and any unauthorized access. The Data Controller has adopted all minimum-security measures required by law and guided by the main international standards, has also adopted additional security measures in order to minimize the risks related to confidentiality, availability and integrity of personal data collected and processed.

Data sharing, communication and spreading

Collected data can be transferred or communicated to other companies for activities strictly connected and necessary for the service to be carried out, such as the management of the information system. The personal data provided by the users who ask for literature (brochure, leaflets, etc..) are used solely to carry out the service or performance required and are communicated to third parties only if it’s needed for such purpose (companies that take care of packaging, labelling, shipment). Apart from these cases, personal data will not be communicated unless required by contract or law, or unless specific consent is requested from the person concerned. In this sense, personal data may be transmitted to third parties, but only in case:

  1. there’s an explicit consent to share the data with third parties;
  2. the information must be shared with third parties in order to carry out the service required;
  3. it’s needed to meet requests by the Judicial or Public Security Authority.

No data deriving from the web service will be disclosed.

Rights of the interested parties

The personal data protection legislation expressly provides for certain rights of the subjects to whom the data refer (so-called data subject). In particular, pursuant to Articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, each data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him/her exist, to be informed of the source and the purposes and methods of processing, to have the data updated, corrected, completed and deleted if processed unlawfully or for any of the reasons specified in Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of data through this site is in violation of EU Regulation 2016/679.

Modifications to this privacy policy

The Data Controller periodically checks its privacy and security policy and, if necessary, revises it in relation to regulatory, organizational or technological changes. In case of policy changes, the new version will be published on this page of the site
